The US Food and Drug Administration posted a consumer alert for Seneca Snack Company’s recall of two brands of apple chips that may be contaminated with salmonella. Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips sold at Aldi stores and Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips sold through Amazon have been recalled and should not be consumed.
Recalled product details:
• Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips: 2.5 ounce package, individual package codes – 26JUN2021 and 27JUN2021.
• Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips: 0.7 ounce package, UPC No. 0 18195-70140 4, individual package code – 26JUN2021.
• Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips: 2.5 ounce package, UPC No. 0 18195-70100 8, individual package code – 28JUN2021.
