Paul Tesori, former PGA TOUR Player and current PGA TOUR caddie and his wife, Michelle, founded the Tesori Family Foundation in 2009. After the arrival of baby Isaiah, the foundation expanded from Northeast Florida to all of the United States adding programs for children with all types of special needs. Having always had support from generous hearts, the Tesoris began supporting several charities throughout the year- from childhood homelessness to battered women’s shelters, from children fighting cancer to animal rescue charities. They can be found at most local charities, especially those designed to benefit children.
The Tesoris also host their inaugural charity golf tournament with a special “3-21” theme to raise money for the Down Syndrome community. To celebrate the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome, groups have to play in a threesome rather than the typical foursome and are only allowed 21 clubs total.
The Tesoris love to watch the groups strategize with their limited tools (clubs) as this is similar to the challenges special needs children (and adults) face everyday.
We encourage you to join them and us in an effort to change the world for people with this extra special chromosome!
